Almeria is still little know to many expats and holidaymakers alike, but thats just for now.

There are lots of quiet beaches, good restaurants and the warm weather actually comes sooner in the year than the rest of mainland Spain, this is worth taking into account if you are booking an early Spanish holiday.

Tabernas dessert is where they filmed the original Spaghetti westerns and Lawrence of Arabia so it's well worth a visit, some of the original film sets are still there.
